Get a glimpse of Family Secrets
Nina Crawford travels to Brussels, where she falls for an American stranger who refuses to give his name and she keeps hers secret too. Mutual distrust. Undeniable attraction. And back in London, a text message that shatters everything.
It would be downright criminal to reveal the whole story here. But a glimpse we can give you.
The Crawford and Wilson families have been friends for three generations. The first generation are no longer around when the story begins, the second generation are in their early sixties, the third around thirty.
One of the main characters in the first part, Family Secrets, is Nina Crawford. She is the youngest of them all. She travels to Brussels to interview several people who work at the European Parliament. She meets an American stranger and falls for him on the spot. But he refuses to tell her his name. What is he hiding?
Nina doesn’t give him her name either. So, what’s her secret? Although they immediately realise they cannot trust each other, the mutual attraction is undeniable.
The temperature goes up whenever they are in the same room. Tiptoeing around the truth, they play games and talk about topics that matter to them. From across the Channel, the entire third-generation Clover Clan stick their noses into their business. When Nina returns to London, she gets a text message that shatters her world. The shock reverberates through the whole Clover Clan.
